Solar da Praça de Santa Maria / Solar dos Brito Pegado

Built at the turn of the 16th to the 17th century, the Brito Pegado residence was improved in 1782 to welcome Queen Maria I and King Consort Pedro III. In the 20th century, it underwent renovation work to become the residence of the painter Eduardo Malta, and is now a Municipal Museum.
