Pillory de Óbidos

The village pillory, built in granite. It features on one side the shield with the royal weapons and on the other side D. Leonor’s shrimp boat, which this queen donated to the town in memory of the net in which fishermen brought her son who died in a hunting accident. In it, in the past, delinquents and criminals were exposed and punished.
