Facho Tower

Translating to "Beam’s Tower" investigators are not really sure about when it was first built. Some believe that was first used as a watch-tower and signaling beam to the vessels using Óbidos lagoon by the romans, but it’s possible that it was built already over a previous structure.

Later was integrated on the village’s defensive struture and it’s the southernmost point of the Óbidos defensive wall.
