East Tower

The eastmost point of the city walls, this tower is located on a rocky massif facing the east surroundings of the city. Coming here is a magic experience because you will be forced to travel on the defensive walls which transports you even more to a different time. Obviously you need to be careful, especially if you are afraid of heights because there are some pretty exposed parts. From this tower we can also see the location of another less known gem of Óbidos, the location of the Roman settlement “Eburobrittium” wich is marked on the photo.
